Pre-K - Fox Den (younger Pre-k) and Eagle Nest (older Pre-k) Classrooms
Four years to Kindergarten

They rule the school! Or, so they think. They are funny, playful, endearing, creative, imaginative and ready for each challenge. They love their teachers, they’re going to Kindergarten next year and are ready to sit and learning. They are writing, singing, and developing their language skills.

What we do:

  • Enjoy computer class
  • Love music with Mrs. Jean
  • Wiggle during dance class
  • Kick it during soccer
  • Play outside everyday
  • Paint, draw, craft and more
  • Master their letters and numbers
  • Learn Spanish
  • Use their imaginations
  • Play together
  • Work together
  • Get silly
  • Tell jokes
  • Read stories

We are working with them on pre-reading and reading skills, writing skills, math and science concepts while still providing a safe place to play and explore. We’re practicing life skills such as serving ourselves at mealtime. Using our manners, asking politely to be excused from the table or to go to the bathroom, and dressing ourselves for outside play. We’re practicing our communication and our conflict resolution skills.

We’re making up stories, doing puppets show, creating fabulous works of art, signing, dancing, being silly, doing wild, messy science and generally trying out our limited independence.
