Enrichment
We want your children to stretch and learn many new things and feel it’s important to provide those experiences during your child’s day. Here are some of our extra enrichment activities that are included in the tuition.
Music with Mrs. Jean
Toddler, Preschool and Pre-K children each enjoy a 30 minute music lesson with Mrs. Jean every Thursday. With her guitar, props and silly songs she’s a big hit with the kids. Everyone, including teachers get into it singing, dancing and clapping to the music.
Gits Smart Computer Class
Every Monday and Pre-K children have a forty-minute lesson with Miss Diane. Six kids per class work with Miss Diane on basic computer skills including respect for equipment, basic mouse skills, understanding of hardware and software. Go to gitssmart.com to learn more about the curriculum.
Yoga Class with Ms. Heather
Pre-school and Pre-K children enjoy a half hour of yoga class with Ms. Heather every Wednesday.
Field Trips
We do lots of field trips to great places, to the zoo, science museum, the fire fighting museum and the apple orchard. We go to plays, the Children’s museum, the farm and more. These highly supervised activities are fun, educational, and inexpensive. Parents are always welcome! And besides, what could be better than a ride in a school bus.
